At Whitelands we encourage the children to take a pride in their appearance. The wearing of the school colours of royal blue and white creates a sense of identity and belonging to the school community. We have designed the uniform so that parents can buy generic items from a variety of shops and all children wear our uniform, which consists of:

Boys

• Grey or black trousers or shorts
• White polo shirt / white shirt
• Royal blue jumper (with or without logo)
• Grey or black socks
• Black flat shoes* (not trainers)

Girls

• Grey or black medium length flared or pleated skirt / school trousers (not fashion style).
• White polo shirt / white shirt
• Royal blue jumper / cardigan (with or without logo)
• White socks / grey or black tights.
• Black flat shoes* (not trainers)

*These can be either laced up or secured with straps using buckles or velcro.  Open toes, high heels or slip-on shoes are not acceptable.

PE Kit

All children should have adequate sportswear as it is important for reasons of safety and hygiene that they have a change of clothes for PE. The children will need black / navy shorts and a plain white T-shirt or white T-shirt with the school logo. Footwear should be black plimsolls or white trainers. It is also useful if the children have a tracksuit for outdoor wear in the winter.
