Whitelands Park Primary School Better never stops

Friends of Whitelands

Who Are We?

Friends of Whitelands Park Primary School (registered charity 1020268) are a group of parents who are passionate about creating memories for the pupils of Whitelands Park School through arranging exciting, entertaining events throughout the academic year, which in turn also raise funds for the school.

As a Parent & Teacher Association, we bring lots of ideas into the calendar, and welcome ideas from the families of the school as well.

Committee Members

  • Natalie Master (Chair)
  • Julie Futcher (Treasurer)
  • Mel Elms (Secretary)

What We Do

Supported by a wonderful team of helpers for events to be hosted throughout the year. These are some of the plans we have in mind include:

  • Host coffee mornings to bring families into the school
  • Run Mother’s and Father’s Day shops
  • Run an Easter trail
  • Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee
  • Celebrate the School’s 50th birthday
  • Run a second hand uniform stall and second hand book stall at various times in the year

We are keen to restart discos and movie nights for the children, as well as quiz and bingo nights for the families of the school.

We actively welcome new members, who can offer as little or as much support as they can. Whether you could volunteer at one disco or at every event, are particularly crafty, an amazing baker, or simply want to get to know more parents at the school, whilst helping to raise funds for the school, we’d love to have a chat with you.
