The children have had a great term learning through our project 'Bright Lights, Big City'.
They have learnt so much about the UK, London, landmarks and important features as well as enjoying a Science unit all about the weather and seasons.
After the Easter holidays we are beginning our History project titled 'School Days'.
The children will learn about the history of Whiteland's Park Primary School and then about the classrooms and schools in the Victorian era. The children will compare and contrast features of Victorian life to modern life, schools, houses, teachers, children's lifestyles and significant people. The children will also take part in a DT project where they will be developing their food technology skills. In Science they will be learning about plant and animal plants and completing investigations about leaves, bulbs, seeds and trees
Thank you for all of your support during this term - reading to you child, hearing your child read and helping your child practise their spellings daily really does help them to make as much progress as possible.
Happy Easter!!
Enjoy the break and we will see you on Monday 25th April 2022.
